NPHW 2025

Advocacy Focus defines advocacy as giving a person support to have their voice heard. It is a service aimed at helping people understand their rights and express their views. In public health advocacy, people use their voices to influence changes that create a healthier world for all people (APHA, 2025). Public health advocacy can come from individuals, neighborhoods, communities, states, and nations. The efforts can come from each on their own or collaboratively. It simply matters that voices are heard on health issues that affect people everywhere.
